Our accommodations –

Immersed in nature

Indoor comforts outdoors

Enjoy spa-like bathrooms, the comfort of heat and air conditioning, modern furnishings, and the opportunity to cook outdoors.

Soak it all in

Relax under the stars in a cowboy pool or excite your senses with a cold plunge after a hard day on the wine trail.

Make an off-the-grid connection

Being out here doesn’t mean that you can’t be where you need to be with high speed WiFi. The epic Zoom backgrounds are free.

Be restored while you sleep

There’s nothing like having canvas over your head as you sleep or a luxury queen bed, the finest linens and the therapy of nature’s own white noise machine.

The luxury of time well spent

The perfect Texas escape

Feel at home in the outdoors with the luxury of our glamping tents all just an afternoons drive from Austin, San Antonio, Dallas or Houston.

Revel in the solitude

Get away from it all, hug a live oak tree and be restored by nature in our 34 acre slice of rugged Texas Hill Country.

Get closer to what matters

Gather around a firepit with smores, toast the sunset with a local beer or mocktail, or take in the starry night skies.

Nothing will

eclipse our view

Fredericksburg will be one of best places to view the 2024 total solar eclipse next April 8th, an astronomical phenomenon we won’t see again until 2044.

We are now offering a unique opportunity for group bookings, please get in touch to enquire about a total buy-out of the retreat or group booking opportunities.

Discover Texas Hill Country,
a destination like no other

Explore historic Fredericksburg

Stroll the Marktplatz, browse antiques, visit a museum, share a meal, or catch the famous Oktoberfest or Holiday festivities.

Find yourself in nature

Take a stroll across to our neighbors at Crown Hill Winery or visit Pedernales Cellars, just a few of the tasty destinations on the Texas Wine Trail.

Dance back in time

Enjoy an evening of music and dancing with our neighbors in Albert or Luckenbach two of the oldest, most storied dance halls in Texas.

Hosting guests in the
outdoors since 2015

Get to know your hosts

Jen and Jeff started Outdoorsy in 2015 inspired by a mission to reconnect everyone with the outdoors and each other. This has been a personal journey of transformation for them and one they’ve now shared with over 1m guests. Their passion for building businesses that create unique ways to experience the outdoors inspired them to become hosts themselves and open Outdoorsy Hill Country, a Texas glamping retreat.

See how it all got started on the premier episode of Magnolia Network’s ‘Building Off the Grid’.
